DIVEMASTER

A DREAM, A JOB, A CAREER

Are you one of those divers who has become totally addicted to scuba diving? Do you want to travel and work in some of the most beautiful places in the world? Becoming a Divemaster will provide you with those opportunities and more!

Divemaster is your first step on the Professional dive career path, and it is the first level of professional training that you can undertake within the diving industry.

As a Divemaster, you not only get to dive… A LOT… you also get the chance to meet new people and share their joy of diving. In addition, you will be able to conduct elements of the refresher courses, assist instructors with training courses, take certified divers on guided dives and much, much more.

A Divemaster is a respected dive professional who has a passion for nature, social involvement and commitment to excellence. Being a great Divemaster requires great leadership and problem-solving skills. During your Divemaster course, your instructor will adopt the role of a mentor rather than a teacher, guiding you through your professional development as you become proficient in organizing and leading dive activities. During knowledge development sessions, water skill exercises and workshops you will learn the trade in its entirety and become a confident and skilful dive professional.

At Pro Dive we are committed to providing you with a full complement of the skills and knowledge required to make you the most accomplished Divemaster that you can be within such a competitive dive industry. We take pride in our career training programs, when you embark on a course with us, you’ll be working with REAL classes, with REAL students, in REAL dive centres, and on REAL boats. None of our training in leadership, recreation, tourism, education, retail or maritime is simulated. We view this as an essential part of your own training to ensure that you are as confident and prepared as you can be when you step out into the real world.

At Pro Dive not only do you learn and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to work and travel around the world, but our programs are Nationally recognised and upon completion, candidates can apply for a Cert III or Cert IV in training and assessment from Pro Adventures RTO.
