FAQs

FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.
  • How many study hours per week?

Due to the nature of scuba diving, hours can vary depending on conditions, group size, dive site location etc. Generally 6-8 hours per day for practical activities.

  • How many dives will I complete?

Divemaster candidates will complete 60-70 dives. Instructor candidates will complete 100+ dives

  • Will I need my own equipment?

You will be given your own set of snorkelling equipment (mask, snorkel, boots, fins & wetsuit) and will have access to our BCD, regs, tanks & weights for the duration of your course.

However, all dive professionals are required to own their own scuba set, the following items must be purchased before final certification:

    • BCD
    • Regulator set
    • SMB
    • Reel
  • Am I guaranteed work at the end of the course?

YES, we guarantee every divemaster candidate will receive 2 weeks of part-time work and instructors will receive 4 weeks of full-time work.

You must have full working rights in Australia to benefit from this inclusion.

  • What happens if I can't complete the course due to injury or sickness?

Our full-time training course is designed for a holistic diving experience. But we understand students get sick from time to time.

We have some flexibility during the course as well as weekends available to ensure you don't miss anything.

Each case will be looked at individually but we are yet to have a situation where a plan can't be made.
